After a fire the existing wooden structure of house ERZ has vanished, only concrete elements remain. The new wooden structure is gently placed on the concrete floor and on the hill, perpendicular to the altitude lines, reaching towards the valley and lake.
Each compartment is interwoven: floors, walls, foundations and furniture merge into one another. Beams remain visible as the floor and walls are placed between the structure. Occasionally floor elements have been removed or punctured to allow drainage water to fall down the hill. Although each beam has the same diameter, there is a play between the massiveness and lightness, repetition and inbetween space.
The form of the house, with its angled roof refers to the local fisher houses that can be found near the waterline.
