Because of the complexity of the site 'Wasserij Der Vlaanderen', former laundry complex, a model is initially developed to represent the variety of structures and spaces. The various successive cuts give deeper insight and can be shifted and moved among themselves during the design process.

In the second instance, five smaller interventions are designed within this whole. They each attempt to turn the visitor into an agent, motivating them to make a choice or a stand (independently of the architect's point of view). When in doubt, two components are weighed against each other. On the one hand there is a threshold or a challenge to be overcome, on the other hand there is a stimulus that can trigger curiosity.
